Jeremy Worsfold

Postdoctoral Fellow

University of New South Wales, Sydney

Biography

Jeremy is a Postdoctoral fellow at the UNSW researching Statistical Physics in the Theory of Biological Systems Group. He is particularly interested in collective behaviour and the behaviour of spatially coupled interacting stochastic particles. He recently completed his PhD thesis titled “Stochastic Active Flows” at the University of Bath under the supervision of Professor Tim Rogers.

Previously he read Theoretical Physics at the University of Manchester, writing his thesis on spatial control in football in collaboration with Manchester City Football Club.

In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys playing football (soccer), running, walking and exploring all the beaches Sydney has to offer.
